Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I participate in the PV Welcome program?

Welcome Wagon programs allow you the ability to connect with the most valuable potential customers – new homeowners – at the most influential time: when they have the greatest need for new products and services and want to build relationships.  This is the only personally delivered form of advertising in the area.

To whom do you deliver Welcome Baskets?

New homeowners in the 90274 and 90275 areas.

Where does PV Welcome get its new homeowner names?

The names come from a variety of sources including the PV Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, realtors, cities, HOA’s, friends, neighbors or from the new homeowners themselves calling us directly after seeing our ads.

If I participate in this program, can I get help writing my business copy and designing my Welcome Offer?

PV Welcome has a Chamber member who can work with you on developing your copy and offerings.  The cost to you will be agreed on mutually between you and the PR associate.

How many new residents move to the Peninsula area each month?

Please contact us by phone or email to find out the average number of names to expect. Because the number of new movers changes each month, you will be billed only for the number of names you actually receive that month.

Monthly subscribers will receive new resident names and addresses.  All lists are for one time use only.

Can I find out who received my information and or gift?

Yes.  Each month, PV  Welcome  will send you the names and addresses of the families who received a Welcome Basket. Your list provides you with a great opportunity to implement your own follow-up marketing program so you can build relationships with these great prospects.

I’ve tried the Yellow Pages, circulars and other classified books and nothing really worked. Why will your program work?

Many of our customers had this concern initially.  They found that being alongside all of their competitors in the Yellow Pages was almost like helping pay for their competitors’ advertising!  And, most flyers and circulars last less than a few hours in most homes.  In fact, most people say they open their mail over the trash can!  Our program works because it is put directly into the hands of a potential client or customer.  Even if they don’t need your services immediately, with your gentle reminder they will remember you when they do.

I’ve seen other companies that say they reach new homeowners better than anyone else.  How is PV Welcome different?

There are several reasons why the PV Welcome program is superior to others. First of all, other companies buy mailing lists.  Some of the names are re-fi’s, quick claim deeds, divorces, etc.  We don’t buy or sell mailing lists.  Also, we are exclusively partnered with the PVP Chamber of Commerce which provides additional business validation in the community.

When are invoices mailed?

Invoices are mailed during the first week of each month along with the names and addresses of the Welcome Basket recipients so you can follow up.

I used my distribution list to do a follow-up mailing and one of my letters was returned to me. Can I get a credit?

While our mailing list is over 98% deliverable, occasionally a piece of mail is returned. When this occurs, we research the name to determine the cause.  When a name on our list is deemed undeliverable, we give every business name credit as compensation.

How do I arrange to see a sample of the PV Welcome Basket?
