PVW IS THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE OF THE PENINSULA!
The Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce (PVCC) has recently signed a partnership agreement with Palos Verdes Welcome (PVW) to promote their welcome program in our community.
Palos Verdes Welcome has been delivering beautiful welcome baskets to families new to the Peninsula for many years. These baskets are filled with information, gifts and offerings from local businesses, cultural centers and non-profits, as well as information about the Palos Verdes Peninsula and all it has to offer.
PVW has built strong relationships in the community and works closely with the cities, businesses, non-profits and cultural groups to welcome new residents onto the Peninsula.
Navigating the Peninsula is not easy for a newcomer. We have 4 cities, 3 shopping centers, 3 plazas and many strip areas. PVW collects promotional gift items, literature, maps, newsletters and other helpful materials in a cohesive and beautiful basket to welcome new community members.
Over the past 15 years, PVW has personally delivered over 4,000 baskets to families new to this community. The basket recipients often feel warmly welcomed by such a friendly gesture and have a positive initial impressions of the local businesses that have included an information booklet, flyer, coupon or a gift in the basket. The new residents save time (and often money from coupons) by finding services from local businesses in their new community through the PV Welcome program.
The PVCC offers their members a deep discount for having their business represented in the PV Welcome basket.
